As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the DSNY Boxing Team, established in 2024, is made up of Sanitation workers, Supervisors, and other DSNY staff who train on their own time while keeping our city safe and clean. Through the discipline and camaraderie of boxing, we aim to build a supportive community that fosters personal and professional growth while gaining recognition for our Department in the boxing world. we are also committed to making a positive impact on the broader community by supporting other city agencies and local charities, reinforcing our dedication to public service. By harnessing the power of sport, we strive to inspire, uplift, and give back, creating a legacy of pride, unity, and service within DSNY and beyond.
